Showcasing how real estate data is distributed through innovative mobile apps and new advances in digitizing the real estate transaction, 20 top real estate technology firms competed in the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) “Show N Tell” in Nashville. HomeSpotter won top tech honors as “Best in Show,” with honorable mentions for newcomers Agent Inbox and TrustFunds.

More than 330 real estate technology and business leaders – a new conference attendance record for RESO – voted to select the winners of the 2016 RESO “Show N Tell. Attendees represented the full spectrum of the real estate industry, including real estate brokerages, Multiple Listing Services (MLSs), and real estate technology providers.

The 2016 RESO “Show N Tell” included brief “Ted Talk”-like demonstrations of some of the newest breakthrough innovations in real estate and companies leveraging data to engage real estate professionals and their clients in a way that helps streamline the real estate transaction. The three winning innovations:

Agent Inbox – Winner “Honorable Mention”: Tyler Gordon, CEO and Cofounder, earned the first honorable mention for Agent Inbox, a modern messaging experience for messaging-centric MLSs. Built on top of and powered by local MLS data, Agent Inbox facilitates transaction communications within context, accessible everywhere, and with all the listing data needed to complete a transaction.

TrustFunds – Winner “Honorable Mention”: Lynn Leegard, President, also earned an honorable mention for TrustFunds, which completes the electronic transaction with its “Earnest Money Made Easy” technology. It is an integrated core service within an MLS that allows a buyer to electronically submit earnest money directly to a designated trust account.

“All three winners are actively working to improve the real estate transaction through innovation and collaboration,” said Jeremy Crawford, Executive Director of RESO. “They each showed that data standards in real estate are vital to deliver the best, most reliable and consistent experience that is needed for a better real estate experience.”
