RESO Workgroup Meetings
Research & Development Workgroup | March 2, 2023
The meeting included approval of the Simplified Business Case Form and sending the NAR Safety Field Recommendation and Agent/Office Biographical Information cases to the Data Dictionary Workgroup. The business cases for Payload Filter on Certification Pages and Smart Home Standards were discussed and remain active. Also, a subgroup is analyzing the definitions of Standard Statuses, and additional members may volunteer by making a comment on the Standard Status Definitions post in Confluence. | NOTES
Interoperability Workgroup | March 14, 2023
The meeting included discussion about the recently submitted Payload Filter on Certification Pages business case; the differences between data feeds such as IDX, VOW and Broker Back Office (BBO); and the topics the workgroup may cover at the upcoming RESO Spring Conference. | NOTES
Internet Tracking | March 15, 2023
The meeting included a presentation of lead tracking and management by the founder of PortfolioBay. The group discussed and agreed to move forward with changing the names of several summary fields in the Tracking Fields 2.0.10 Specification. Additionally, there was a privacy update, including discussion of a proposed legislative bill that may pave the way for banning foreign app surveillance in the U.S. | NOTES
Data Dictionary Workgroup | March 16, 2023
Defining multiple uses in a single dataset, with four main cases described and a recommendation given, was the primary topic of the discussion. A potential new field called ImageContains was introduced along with two options for its lookup values, which are still to be decided. The Co-Ownership (Fractional) lookup placement under the PropertyType vs. PropertySubType field was discussed and will be covered further in upcoming meetings. Lithium Ion Battery, Lead Acid Battery, Lithium Iron Phosphate, Other and Unknown were approved as lookup options under the new PowerStorageType field. | NOTES
Universal Property Identifier (UPI) | March 22, 2023
The workgroup continued discussion on the County Metadata Proposal, which is a proposed resource to explain which county identifiers were used to create UPIs in situations where additional information beyond the APN was used. A spreadsheet showing these identifiers from all counties in the U.S. was also presented. The group revisited APN duplication issues caused by the removal of formatting characters and the options to address them. Additionally, the Uniform Resource Name (URN) Namespace, secured by RESO, was discussed as a way to improve the next version of the UPI. | NOTES
Distributed Ledger | March 28, 2023
The meeting included guests from WishKnish, who spoke about their data model in relation to concepts covered in the workgroup. The group decided to discontinue work on the Listings on Blockchain and User-Defined Terms-of-Use and Tracking business cases as they currently exist and instead create new cases with the general goal of improving replication using ledgers. Several RESO Change Proposals (RCPs) and their potential impact on the work of the Distributed Ledger Workgroup were also discussed. | NOTES
