The event featured top real estate dignitaries, including Shri Manohar Lal, the Hon. Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs of India. There were 800+ people in attendance, including top government officials, brokers, developers, landlords, investors, bankers and other key real estate stakeholders.

RESO’s Global Vision

RESO’s standards have always been open, intended to work across different industry verticals and across borders. Much like open standards such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and PDF, these standards grow internationally and reinforce the underlying standards as they expand. 50 companies headquartered in more than 20 countries outside of the U.S. have joined RESO in recent years, adding to the multi-country, multi-language capabilities of the standards.

As countries across the world see the growing influence of RESO standards and align their organizations with them, new members continue to grow. This increases the efficiency of transactions for all stakeholders, which is RESO’s mission and top strategic priority. With MLSs in Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East now seeking certifications, the multiplier effect of international engagement is improving resources and standards capabilities in the North American markets where RESO began.

“We are delighted to bring our expertise and experience to key decision-makers in India’s real estate markets and to take important steps toward creating an efficient, interconnected marketplace that bridges the gap between national and international real estate professionals,” said Fairley on UCO’s continued collaboration with NAR-INDIA on MLS development.

Tarun Bhatia, Vice Chairman and Chair-Global, NAR-INDIA remarked on the ongoing work: “UCO is among the world’s leading MLS consultants and solution providers, and their presence at NARVIGATE 2025 – India’s most prestigious real estate convention – marks a significant milestone in NAR-INDIA’s journey towards MLS adoption.“

“Being given an opportunity to demonstrate how the MLS model and data standards are shaping the future of international real estate was an honor, and the international recognition of the value of standards is clear through our global growth” said DeBord.

At the closing of the conference, NAR-INDIA and RESO held an official signing ceremony to join one another’s organizations as mutual members. Feedback from attendees reinforced the value that standards foster greater collaboration and innovation by way of technical interoperability. Connections with global partnerships and real estate professionals are much easier to achieve with a common data language in place.
