Several timely updates have been added to RESO’s refreshed Working with Real Estate Data – Business (RED-B) course.
The course now includes new RESO product offerings like RESO Analytics and new endorsements available for certification beyond Data Dictionary and Web API. It also covers important MLS policy updates from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
As a reminder, once you have signed up for the course, you may return to it at no cost to review any new documentation. If you have already passed the course, you do not need to pass it again to maintain your RED-B designation.
If you have not signed up for the course yet, this is an excellent opportunity to receive up-to-the-minute knowledge about working with one of the most valuable assets in the real estate industry – its data.
Significant updates within the RED-B course include:
- RESO Analytics products, including performance and data alignment reports
- New RESO endorsements eligible for certification (RESO Common Format (RCF), Add/Edit, Validation Expressions, Webhooks)
- MLS policy updates from NAR about data sets and data feeds (for IDX, BBO, VOW and PDAP)
- New rules about offers of compensation
- Information about efforts to promote the MLS model outside of the U.S.
- More details about RESO subgroups
RESO is currently working on a course expansion specifically for working with real estate data in Canada. It will be released in 2024. Work also continues on RED-T, a course geared toward developers and technologists.
