Certification Update
The list of Data Dictionary 1.7 and Web API Core 2.0.0 endorsements continues to grow. Congratulations to the following additions to RESO Analytics:
View the certification status of all MLSs on the RESO Certification Map, which is also a good place to review your address and subscriber count. Contact certification@reso.org for changes.
In order to be listed as Certified Current on the map, MLSs must accept their certification reports from their vendors. MLSs will approve two items – a Data Dictionary endorsement and a Web API endorsement – sent as a pair to the MLS’s primary contact by email.
Questions about RESO certification should be directed to your MLS vendor. Questions about self-testing or the technical aspects of certification, may be directed to dev@reso.org.

Here is a sampling of who has been interviewed since the last RESO Monthly:
RESO Workgroup Meetings
Research & Development Workgroup | December 1, 2022
The group covered a continuation of the Smart Home Business Case, adding that a search for key terms should be run on the certification data in order to see what smart home data elements are being used currently. The Business Case Proposal Template was reviewed with the goal of making it more user friendly than its current state, which may be too daunting for the sharing of new ideas. Finally, there was a high-level discussion about using artificial intelligence (AI) to assist with IDX site compliance. | VIEW NOTES
Transport Workgroup | December 1, 2022
The Transport Workgroup approved the updated Lookup Resource testing rules for DD 1.7 and continued the discussion of locale-based metadata and payload translations. The group approved the initial proposal for locale-based metadata, for which a specification will be created, and reviewed the updated DD JSON Payloads (RCP-025) proposal as well as the changes in testing rules to Add/Edit (RCP-010). | VIEW NOTES
Broker Advisory Workgroup | December 8, 2022
The meeting covered a case study about agent biographical information, including where it originates, the pain points of consuming the data and data entry in multiple systems by agents. The need for a standard will be summarized and presented at the next meeting prior to being passed off to the R&D Workgroup. Additionally, there were updates on the current and upcoming topics for the Data Dictionary and R&D workgroups, as well as new business for RESO as a whole. | VIEW NOTES
Certification Subgroup | December 15, 2022
The group reviewed the Transport Discussion item on multi-definition local fields, and decided not to create testing rules to prevent the outlined scenario at this time. The revised Add/Edit specification and testing rules were sent to Transport for draft approval; RESO is looking for another Add/Edit implementation – please contact dev@reso.org if you’ve implemented this functionality or are interested in doing so. | VIEW NOTES
Notes for December and January meetings of the Data Dictionary Workgroup, Research & Development Workgroup, Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Subgroup and Transport Workgroup will be published next month.
