RESO Participates in Shaping the Future of Real Estate in India
The National Association of Realtors – India (NAR-INDIA) recently held its annual NARVIGATE conference in Delhi. International leaders were invited to speak, including RESO’s Sam DeBord and RESO members Shayne Fairley, Marion Weiler and Matthew Kallumadil of Stellar MLS. | READ MORE
The event featured top real estate dignitaries, including Shri Manohar Lal, the Hon. Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs of India. There were 800+ people in attendance, including brokers, developers, landlords, investors, bankers and other key real estate stakeholders.
NAR-INDIA and RESO agreed to join one another’s organizations as mutual members.
RESO and Advanced Real Estate Services (ADRES) Meet to Plan for 4th International MLS Forum (IMLSF) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The plans for the 2026 IMLSF continue to take shape as ADRES and RESO met in Abu Dhabi to plan the physical and audience logistics for the event. Participation is expected to expand to even more countries with Asia, Middle East and African representatives adding to the large contingent of attendees from Europe and the Americas.
Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, is consistently ranked as one of the world’s safest cities, with incredible experiences in arts, architecture and entertainment. With waterfront access all around and Dubai just a short drive away, visitors will want to enjoy not just the forum but also a little time touristing in the UAE.

RESO Workgroup Meetings
Interoperability Workgroup | March 11, 2025
The group discussed how ActivityPub may help with interoperability and passing data between systems. They also discussed how the typical process of populating listing or licensee data to many endpoints using traditional methods like replication can be simplified. | NOTES
Bulk Sale Subgroup | March 12, 2024
The group reviewed the PackageSale Resource proposal and discussed any additional fields that may be needed, as well as the concept of this new resource acting as a “container” for one-to-many property records. A survey will be sent to a larger volunteer group to gather feedback on this structure and its potential use. | NOTES
Fast Track Subgroup | March 18, 2025
The group reviewed previously approved Fast Track suggestions that have been sent back to the group for reconsideration. Several suggestions were recommended for the Data Dictionary Workgroup, including whether Stove should be a synonym of Cooktop, additions to ConstructionMaterials and a way to communicate that a residential property has a lawn sprinkler system. Additionally, it was recommended that the Residential Income PropertyType be removed as a related suggestion for the Multi Family PropertySubType. | NOTES
Internet Tracking Workgroup | March 19, 2025
The group reviewed the Tracking Fields 2.0.11 Spreadsheet and discussed how some common behavior Advanced Metrics may fit in with the specification. The ActivityPub protocol and its potential to help with RESO standards was discussed, which was coincidentally a topic at the March 2025 Interoperability Workgroup meeting. Current U.S. privacy laws by state and a historical timeline of U.S. privacy laws were also presented. | NOTES
Data Dictionary Workgroup | March 20, 2025
The group approved Cottage as a new lookup under the ArchitecturalStyle field. Additional items and proposals discussed that require further scrutiny and expert input include, Energy Performance Certificates for the EU, CurencyTypes and Data Dictionary Payload Additions. | NOTES
Broker Advisory Workgroup | March 27, 2025
The group discussed the Multiple Listing Options for Sellers policy from the National Association of REALTORS®. The group exchanged information on feedback they are getting from agents in their respective markets, how the policy may be implemented, and how cases such as data shares or client portals may be affected. Additionally, a slide presentation on “Coming Soon” listing in the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® marketplace was shared. | NOTES
