Paving the Way for International Expansion
In February, RESO CEO Sam DeBord spoke with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Open Standards Consortium for Real Estate (OSCRE), and Council of Property Search Organisations (CoPSO) at the beginning of the month and then with Mexico’s national real estate professionals association, Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios (AMPI), near the end of the month.

Distributed Ledger Workgroup Meeting | February 23, 2021
The group dove into governance from the perspective of how IEEE goes about approaching standards terminology and project success rooted in a governing control body. The workgroup chair provided a UPI proof of concept/walk-through of a resolver implementation. Tie-in activities with other RESO workgroups was noted. | VIEW CALL NOTES
Universal Property Indicator (UPI) Workgroup Meeting | February 24, 2021
The group received updates on international adoption of the UPI and an update on recent UPI Registry developments along with a proof of concept via the Distributed Ledger Workgroup chair. Plans for RESO Remix workgroup meetings were discussed, as were UPI open-source objectives. | VIEW CALL NOTES
Payloads Workgroup Meeting | February 25, 2021
The group met for the first time in several months to get caught up on payloads activity related to testing specifications, an appraiser payload, a cooperative payload and the possibility of certifying non-real estate providers who want to provide Data Dictionary-structured JSON data without a RESO Web API, the latter item being a relatively new concept made possible by modern testing tools. | VIEW CALL NOTES
Transport Workgroup Meeting | February 18, 2021
The workgroup discussed the Web API Add/Edit Endorsement, which is currently moving forward in the Certification Subgroup, as well as made a request for implementations and then discussed endorsements in general and how they are documented in the RESO ecosystem. This was followed by a quick errata regarding testing OData $count, a discussion of Web API Clients, and an overview of Uniform Resource Names (URNs) and how to incorporate them into the RESO domain. | VIEW CALL NOTES
